| PERTH AMBOY, N.J., AUGUST 3, 2006—Englert, Inc. today unveiled its new A1500 Series Profile tooling for the company’s Metal Man Multi-Panel Roofing Machine. With the addition of the new A1500 profile tooling, the Metalman Multi-Panel Roofing Machine now produces the largest number of metal roofing profiles available from a single machine in the marketplace today. The new tooling allows contractors with the multi-panel machine to produce the A1500 1 ½-inch high by ¼-inch wide integral snap-lock panel system comprised of an integral narrow batten seam that snaps over a rigid, continuous interlock leg to create a rugged, yet aesthetically pleasing, architectural panel system even in valleys and end walls. The new system is designed to produce the most positive snap engagement available and will meet qualifications for UL-90, ASTM E-1592, ASTM water and air infiltration, Dade County and Florida Building Code testing and compliance. The tooling is designed to produce a panel for steep slope roofs 3/12 or better and for any kind of architectural application with a deck for commercial or institutional projects.
