Outside Metal Roofing & Gutter Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

The qualified candidate will travel throughout the territory to call on regular and prospective customers/contractors to solicit metal roofing & gutter business. Will maintain a positive personal working relationship with all customers in the territory. Take measurements from blueprints to prepare quotes for the customer. New business prospecting and development, including cold-calling: scheduling appointments, and preparing presentations, new proposals, and bid specifications to strategically win new opportunities. Meet monthly and annual territory sales and gross profit targets by product line. Maintain a high level of understanding and proficiency with all current and new product offerings and market applications. Recommend changes or additions to current product lines, service and delivery based on customer needs and up to date awareness of competitive intelligence. Implement and manage the CRM data for the territory, including account information, lead follow up, correspondence and calendar data. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the Architectural Sales Rep and team, quote prices, credit terms and estimated delivery charges to the customer. Comply with the service and material complaint process and assist in the resolution. Ensure maximum market penetration through effective time and territory management.


Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the commercial metal roofing & gutter industry, basic demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office package, and CRM system, demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction specifications or blueprints is mandatory. Significant travel required throughout assigned territory. Base Salary plus monthly commissions, car allowance, gas, phone, laptop are provided. We provide a great benefit package!! Our specialty gutter brand LeafGuard leader in the industry and creator of the unique one piece, seamless gutter system in the world is actively looking for an Accounting Manager for its growing Perth Amboy, NJ Headquarters. The accounting manager primary responsibility is to provide management with accurate and timely information to support business decisions and to ascertain that the company is in compliance with all of the regulatory requirements under which it operates. The individual will support and report directly to the Executive LeafGuard President with a dotted line to the CFO carrying out the following responsibilities of the department:

  • Prepare and analyze account reconciliations
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Perform month end close independently with no supervision
  • Prepare and post general ledger journal entries to ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Accounts payable on voucher entry and check runs
  • Prepare reports detailing expenses as required
  • Prepare monthly accruals
  • Prepare required supporting schedules worksheets and narratives
  • Provide follow up and documentation of significant variances
  • Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns for the various jurisdictions
  • Assist Accounting Department with external audit
  • Complete requested material by auditing firm
  • Prepare assigned schedules for the annual audit and any interim audits
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Monitor cash sheet and availability on a daily basis
  • Contribute to the department and the organization in the performance of special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university
  • 5-7 years experience
  • Candidate must have a thorough understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Quickbooks (a must)
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
  • Excellent verbal, written communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Gutter and Roofing Machine Technician

National and Innovative Building Material products company leader in the metal roofing , wall-panel and gutter Industry including the LeafGuard brand is actively looking for a Warehouse/Machine Tech employee for our Perth Amboy, NJ headquarters. This full time position will work under the direction of the Machine Tech Supervisor serving a number of customers, contractors and others in machine repairs as needed (70%-80% of the time). In addition, this full time employee will oversee some inside warehouse operations with heavy customer contact. This position requires traveling.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience with metal forming equipment, operation and repairs
  • 3 year of product manufacturing and/or installation experience of metal roofing or gutters
  • General knowledge and experience with machine electronics and hydraulics
  • General knowledge and experience with electric and small gasoline engines
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repairs, maintenance, and trouble shooting
  • Able to learn and understand mechanical assembly and adjustment techniques
  • Flexible and willing to travel domestically up to 70% of the time within a specific region
  • Must have positive "can-do" attitude and impeccable customer relations skills and attendance
  • Must be able to learn the position rapidly and work solo within 6 months
  • Must have computer and communication skills and be familiar with word, excel, & Microsoft products
  • All reporting and work distribution is done via CRM, Full CRM accountability must be achieved within 6 months (Training provided)
  • Warehouse experience a must, with ability to lift up to 85 lbs.
  • Warehouse support may require 20% of your time
  • Must have at least 1 year of forklift experience, with a safe driving record
  • Must be able to read, speak and write English fluently
  • Must pass a standard drug test
  • Must poses a valid Driver's License
